Évora

Évora is a municipality in the district of Évora (sub-region: Alentejo Central), covering 1,307 km² in 12 parishes. 34 % of it is forest land (woodland, scrub or natural pasture, according to the COS 2025 land-cover map): there, the strip around each house is 50 m wide.

The map finds 218 villages (groups of at least 10 buildings); the largest are Évora, Bacelo and Malagueira. 8 of them have forest land on more than half of the 100 m strip around them, among them Guadalupe, Monte das Pedras and Castelos.
