Reguengos de Monsaraz

Reguengos de Monsaraz is a municipality in the district of Évora (sub-region: Alentejo Central), covering 464 km² in 4 parishes. Only 25 % of it is forest land (woodland, scrub or natural pasture, according to the COS 2025 land-cover map): there, the strip around each house is 50 m wide.

The map finds 55 villages (groups of at least 10 buildings); the largest are Reguengos de Monsaraz, Corval and Campinho. One of them has forest land on more than half of the 100 m strip around it — Monsaraz.
