Espinho is a municipality in the district of Aveiro (sub-region: Área Metropolitana do Porto), covering 21 km² in 5 parishes. 35 % of it is forest land (woodland, scrub or natural pasture, according to the COS 2025 land-cover map): there, the strip around each house is 50 m wide.
The map finds 22 villages (groups of at least 10 buildings); the largest are Espinho, Paramos and Guetim. 13 of them have forest land on more than half of the 100 m strip around them — among them Guetim and Lameiro.
